We are in the final phase of our four-phase rollout of the Total Access PATH Payment (TAPP) system. All phases of the rollout are listed on the TAPP homepage.

 

Phase 4 - Ending the acceptance of SmartLink and MetroCard

August 31, 2026

MetroCard and SmartLink acceptance ended on August 31, 2026. MetroCard and SmartLink are no longer accepted on PATH.
