System Rollout

We are in the final phase of our four-phase rollout of the Total Access PATH Payment (TAPP) system. All phases of the rollout are listed on the TAPP homepage.

 

Phase 4 - Ending the acceptance of SmartLink and MetroCard

August 31, 2026

We will continue to accept MetroCard and SmartLink until August 31, 2026. Please use your existing SmartLink balance (fare, trips and passes) by this date.
